Autism Somalia Center (ASC) is an indigenous, nonprofit and non-governemental humanitarian organization founded in end 2019 working for the development of children and youth with special-needs in Puntland,Somalia.

ABOUT US
Autism Somalia Centre (ASC) offers the opportunity to acquire and develop skills, enhance practices, and
creative skills.
The center is comprised of a Team of Specialist, Doctors, researchers, volunteers, and administrators.
The organization works to provide intervention to improve access, and to address community demands through proper training and mobilization.
ASC is an expanding service that currently serves 24 children and youth with autism
spectrum disorder, down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
WHAT WE DO
Care of children
The medico-psycho-pedagogical care of chidren with mental disabilities through the creation and management of specialized establishments
Raise awareness about autism
Advocacy and communication around issues related to mental handicap. Establish a real collaboration between parents and professionals.
Training and teaching
Training on autism and autism spectru disorders : for parents, caregives and anyone working with young people.
SERVICE WE PROVIDE
The center is committed to improving the health and living standers of autistic special needs children; Acquiring and developing untiringly the educational skills, as well as enhancieng their learning practices; Our aim is to further delivar our humanitarian and moralistic services as bigger
Assessment and Diagnosis
Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify developmental disabilities,
including autism, to inform personalized intervention plans.
Special Education Programs
Offering individualized educational programs tailored to the unique learning needs of
children with special needs, incorporating occupational therapy interventions to promote skill development and independence.
Family Support and Care Coordination
Providing holistic support to families, including guidance, resources, and coordination of services, ensuring optimal care and development for children with special needs within an educational context.

In this center, all our activities are guided by the following three major objectives which are prerequisites for the achievement of our goals and to provide the needed support to children with special needs:
1- Proper health and adequate nutrition
2 - Basic special education and programs;
3 - To provide awareness to the parents of these children in particular and the society in general.
